Totsy - Online Deals
I love Eyes, Lips, Face e.l.f makeup, and Totsy is becoming one of my new favorite sites!
When you sign up for Totsy here, you will get free shipping on your first purchase. They have quite a few deals right now, but one that caught my eye was the e.l.f makeup. They have products starting at only $4 (with free shipping!). You can get a 10 piece “create the look” eye kit (there are three color combinations available) for $5.50, a 5 piece lip gloss set for $4, a mineral foundation kit for $8 ($45 value), and lots of other deals.
The mineral makeup kit would be a great addition to your bridal emergency bag. It is easy to use (and fast) in a pinch. You could also use the kits as gifts for your attendants.
I am so excited about David’s Bridal’s line of eco-friendly products! Eco-friendly items are both trendy and good for the environment. Combine that with the budget friendly David’s Bridal and we have a winner!
We have talked a lot about eco friendly weddings here on Budget a Wedding. One of my more popular posts is 8 ways to have an eco-friendly wedding. But, those tips are for the big things (gifts, honeymoon, dress, and invitations). When it comes to the environment, the little things can add up.
Favors are a great example. David’s Bridal has some beautiful flower seed packets that you can personalize. I love the idea of giving your guests something that they can plant and see for an entire season!
They also have bamboo coasters that would make great favors or you could use them as part of your decor. This would work especially well for a beach or eco themed wedding. To save your budget even more you could sell them on a bridal forum after you are done with them. At $1.50 per set of 4 you could do an entire round table for $3!
If you want something truly unique then take a look at their blooming favors! They are made up of recycled cotton fiber, fresh flowers, and wildflower seeds. They look great and when planted they will bloom! They include a personalized tag.
There are lots of ways to make your wedding eco friendly. Using “eco friendly” products can mean spending more, but before you decide you can’t afford it make sure you stop by David’s Bridal and take a look at what they offer! I think you will be glad you did.

There are ways to make a wedding unique without breaking the bank. Wedding guests tend to remember the personal parts about a wedding while the basics blend in with all the other weddings they have attended.
Wedding Guest Book
One of my favorite ways to add a splash of personalization is to create a unique wedding guest book.
Say it with pictures! It is getting more common to rent a photo booth for your wedding in order to snap fun pictures of your guests that can serve as both a favor for your guests and a memory book for you. Groupon recently had a deal in this area where brides could rent a photo booth for 50% off! One of the ways you can turn this into your guest book is to have two pictures of each guest, one they get to keep and the other is put in an album. Then, have them sign that page!
If you can’t afford a photo booth then you can always have a friend or family member snap pictures of people as they come in and then add them to the wedding guest book later.
Decorations
Another way to personalize a wedding is using unique party decorations. Use a cute wedding cake topper instead of the usual flowers (or get a grooms cake). Use crystals on the table and name cards for each guest.
Gifts for the Reception
You can purchase gifts for the best man and maid of honor that they can use in the ceremony or reception. One of my favorites is getting wine or champagne glasses for them. Mikasa has some beautiful options and they can be used on the head table during the reception.
It’s the little touches that people tend to remember at a wedding reception so make them special!
