in Reception

If you have the time a DIY wedding is the way to both save money and add a personal touch that cannot be matched. There are many do it yourself wedding projects that you can do! This post is going to feature DIY for the reception tables. I’d love to see additions so leave links!

Use Fruit! Using fruit for the centerpiece of the table saves money on flowers. This post at DIY has some great pictures of different ways they suggest using fruit as a centerpiece.

Candalabra – DIY Network has instructions on how to make a Candalabra Garland Centerpiece. They suggest colors, but you could use the colors of your wedding.

Paper Flower Napkin Rings – I love these napkin rings that Michaels have. The instructions are fairly easy and it would add a great touch to a table.

Rose Wreathed Pillar Candle – Better Homes and Gardens has a DIY Rose Wreathed Pillar Candle that is very pretty. You could use other flowers if you did not want to use the roses.

Floating Candle Centerpiece – Save on Crafts has a DIY floating candle centerpiece that is divine! I love incorporating lighting into the decor. You can get the water lights at Amazon as well as Save on Crafts.

Fruit as a center piece is such a great idea, it is useable but it is also so pretty!

This is the most amazing wedding table decoration I’ve ever seen. The two candles enhance the beauty.
